This decanter is clearly a finely crafted item that looks at home on any drinks cabinet or bar. However, it has a couple of problems that I feel detracts from enjoying it to its fullest. Firstly is that I feel like the design makes the whole thing a tad unstable. Every time I pick it up it feels like i need to be especially careful so as to not spill the wine everywhere, and when its time to put it back into the cradle I often need to make a special effort to put it back on just right so that it doesn't roll to the side and run everywhere. Due to the slanted design it also means that you cannot fill the decanter to the maximum capacity available. The glasses however are exquisite and easily the nicest I have ever had the pleasure of using. Each is finely made and is a joy to drink out of, though it is a shame that there is only two as it limits the use to dinner for two. Having some extra would have been good for dinner parties, especially when the capacity of the decanter is so large. Overall I think I would still happily recommend this. Despite its drawbacks I think it is great value for money and allows for a nice touch of class to your home. Would also work nicely as a present too.

This decanter set is absolutely gorgeous. Even just from the box it is presented in, you can tell it is good quality. It comes with 2 large red stemmed glasses that are really nice, and different to the norm. The glasses are nice and thin around the rim and the stem so nice to hold and drink from, great for a large glass of red wine. The decanter is really nice cut crystal, it's got a unique shape that helps it to rotate around on the base, helping to aerate the wine. It feels surprisingly secure on the base and spins with ease without feeling like its at risk of falling off. Overall, it all feels very well made and would lovely as a piece in any bar or on a sideboard. It would make a lovely gift too. I'd recommend it.

This is an absolutely fabulous red wine decanter set. It has a very unique elegance that makes it an eye-catcher. This 4 piece set consists of 2 long stem red wine glasses, a crystal decanter & the decanter base. THE GLASSES: These are gorgeous red wine glasses; the red to black ombre effect in the stem is fabulous. The glasses are well made, and actually look like very expensive fine crystal wine glasses. They have a very nice size and shape to them, but they are NOT for the heavy handed! These glasses have very delicate stems. THE DECANTER: The decanter is the unique part, it has a diamond shaped bottom that cannot sit flat. It rests on the base, which has a sharp metal post that fits into the hole at the base of the decanter. The decanter sits at an angle, which helps the wine aerate. You can also tap the decanter to get it to rotate 360° on the base, without any worries about it falling off the base. It stays very securely on the base, even when it spins. The decanter has a gorgeous cut-crystal design that elevates the elegance of this decanter. The base is a heavy stainless steel and crystal disc that is exceptionally well-made. It is designed to hold the decanter very securely at an angle, and allow it to rotate without fear of spillage. THE SET: The wine glass and decanter set is very elegant, destined to be an attention getter. It would make a great wedding, engagement or anniversary gift. The set comes come beautifully and VERY securely packaged. The box these come in makes the set even more giftable, because it is kind of posh looking and screams expensive. Together, they are fabulous – both functionally and aesthetically. Overall, I am very happy with this red wine decanter set. I love the way it looks, so it is a nice piece of the décor even when it is not being used. The only thing I would note is to be careful, the bottle does like to spin freely (but slowly) when tapped. So, don’t set the glasses too close or they may get knocked over. I also wish it came with the option of additional glasses; I can’t find a set of matching glasses anywhere. So, it can’t be used with the glasses when having a dinner party, unless you don’t care if the glasses match.

This set is advertised as "Wine Glasses Set of 4" which it is NOT. What you get is TWO glasses and a decanter (the decanter is in 2 parts) so in my opinion this is misleading at best which is a real shame because the glasses are really nice. I am not a fan of the decanter - its just a bit too 'bling' for me but others may appreciate it. The price is just ridiculous at £49.99 and then even with the current 45% off it is still a bit too much (£27.50) but they are well packaged and very presentable as a gift - an ideal wedding present if you are stuck.

Good size decanter like a roly-poly, which holds about 1500ml. Lovely deco with the holder, with the pair of matching crystal glasses. The decanter sits pretty securely on the base. Give it a good roll around for the aeration. A good way to relax and enjoy your drink.
